Graphic Designer nat raum has been nominated for Best of the Net for their poem “the sky said trans rights” in The Broadkill Review. They also have three pieces in manywor(l)ds, and a poem “what if you wanted to go to oaxaca but the sound map said panasonic SV-3700 DAT deck in 1994 toronto” in Full House Literary— spoiler alert: the FHL summer issue has a few pieces from Abode familia!
Prose & Hybrid Reader C.M. Green has been nominated for Best of the Net for their essay “A Perfect Man” in fifth wheel press. They also have a flash piece After “Transcendental Youth” in Full House Literary.
Social Media Manager & Poetry Reader Beck Guerra Carter’s poem “In the south” was published in Lammergeier.
Copy Editor Tanya Thamkruphat has a prose poem, “Self-Portrait as Static Noise,” in diaCRITICS.
Prose Reader Miranda Ramirez has a new column in Public Poetry covering the Houston literary scene. This month she covered Tintero P
Managing Editor & Poetry Editor SG Huerta’s poem “Puberty II” was published in Honey Literary. They were also nominated for Best of the Net for their poem “Origen” in fifth wheel press. Their review/personal essay “Reading Samantha Irby, Laughing til I Cry” was also published in fifth wheel press.
Founder & Director Diamond Braxton also has a poem in Full House Literary, “A Disappointed Mother is a Haunted House.” They also have a short story “Last Groove” in Emerald City.
Last but not least, if you’re headed to AWP next February, plenty of Abode staff, fam, and friends have panels and readings scheduled for the conference!
